I'm an aspiring web developer with some amateur experience in photography and graphic design. I have been interested in the web ever since I created my first HTML file in my digital technologies class at the beginning of high school. I have spent the past few years learning about creating responsive websites with HTML and CSS and JS.
I am currently working full time at a caravan parts company called CAMEC as a warehouse storeman, shipping goods out to customers. I am looking foward to moving onto a career more focused on the web/technology and making it just a little bit more awesome.
Feel free to check out some of my work further down.
This is the second website I had put onto the internet, made for our wedding.
I am quite proud of how this one turned out, aside from the RSVP form which I wanted to spend more time (on to make it more user friendly) but couldn't due to time restraints. I learnt a lot on this one like BEM naming conventions and using the sticky position to keep the location cards fixed while the landing page scrolled.
I use this website to share wedding photos with friends and family. It's very convenient having this website up, as I can show anyone that has a phone my wedding photos.
I really like the landing page with the logo that I made of our names, but the filter menu is very unfriendly. Clicking a filter looks like it'll take you to the section but it takes the section away, which is quite jarring.
I created this website for my Church's worship team. It's designed to create and edit worship songs while also storing the song in the URL. This makes for an extremely long URL (2000 characters in some cases), but makes the song you create somewhat easily shared.
It's a work in progress as you cannot create songs just yet, only edit them. This website has been very helpful in developing my JS skills, as I had not used JS much before then.
This website came about when my Grandad (Papa) passed. My Dad found a folder on his computer dating back to 2007 where Papa had started writing an autobiography titled "60 Years of School Holidays".
I'm currently in the process of putting the 15 chapters of this book on the internet so anyone curious can read it. I'm sad I didn't find out about it when he was still alive, as he had some files with notes on making a website which I would've loved doing with him.
I also do photography as a hobbie with my DSLR and vintage film camera so here are some photos shot and eddited by me.
